Want to Date a Celebrity? Try YouTube

The next time that you feel smitten by a young starlet featured on the big screen, don’t go home knowing that you’ll never have a chance to meet, let alone date, her. Instead, follow the example of Sgt. Scott Moore.

Moore recently posted a YouTube video asking actress Mila Kunis to attend a Marine Corps Ball with him in November. Kunis, who has starred recently in “Black Swan” with Natalie Portman and “Friends with Benefits” with Justin Timberlake, hadn’t heard about the request until a Fox News reporter asked her whether she had accepted.

At the urging of Timberlake, Kunis said that she would attend the event with Sgt. Moore.

Who would have thought that a Marine could use YouTube to score a date with one of Hollywood’s hottest talents?

Just because you now have the opportunity to ask your favorite celebrity on a date, however, doesn’t mean that you should. Not everyone has the right personality type to tolerate paparazzi, red carpet events, endless interview schedules and competition from studly actors like Timberlake. Most people would probably melt down under such intense pressure.

To find out whether you have what it takes to date someone like Kunis, take this quiz. If you get a good score, then go ahead and devote the next couple weeks to making romantic YouTube videos. If you don’t get a high score, then you might as well give up. If you don’t have what it takes to pass an online test, you sure don’t have what it takes to date a real celebrity.
